Remember when 1,000 die-hard Foo Fighters fans united in Cesena, Italy, to cover “Learn to Fly” in the hope that the band would come play a show there? Well, the Foo Fighters noticed, and now Dave Grohl has responded — in Italian.

In the video, “Davide” says he loved the video and that the band is planning to come visit. According to the BBC, the video roughly translates as: “Hello Cesena! It’s David, hi. I’m sorry I don’t speak Italian — just a bit, a bit. This video was good! Super nice. Thank you so much. We’re coming, I swear. We’ll see each other soon. Thank you so much. I love you.”

The group, known as Rockin’ 1000, released a first video earlier this year inviting the Foo Fighters to play a show in the area, before gathering 1,000 musicians to cover “Learn to Fly” in an attempt to lure the band to Italy. Watch the original Rockin’ 1000 “Learn to Fly” video below.
