Bobbi Kristian Brown’s family and friends gathered Saturday to say goodbye at a private funeral for the 22-year-old in Georgia.

The invitation-only service took place at the Saint James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, PEOPLE reports. Those in attendance included her father, Bobby Brown, and singer Monica.

Guests arrived at the church with a police motorcycle procession, while fans gathered outside to pay respects.

A longstanding rift between the Houston and Brown families was apparently evident during the service. The Associated Press reports that Bobby Brown’s sister Leolah Brown walked out of the church and told reporters gathered outside that she was angry because Pat Houston, the sister-in-law and former manager for the late Whitney Houston, was speaking at the funeral.

“I told her that Whitney is going to haunt her from the grave,” she said outside the church, according to the AP.

Brown, the only daughter of Brown and Houston, died last Sunday, nearly six months after being found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub at her home on Jan. 31. An autopsy showed “no obvious underlying cause of death,” officials said, and that additional tests would be performed.

She is expected to be buried beside her mother in New Jersey on Monday.
