Tommy Lee Jones has boarded the cast of the next Bourne movie, EW has confirmed.

The Oscar-winner’s exact role is unknown, but Variety reports he will play a “superior officer at the CIA.”

Jones is the biggest name added to the currently untitled fifth film in the Bourne franchise, which marks Matt Damon’s return to the series after sitting out The Bourne Legacy, which starred Jeremy Renner. Series newcomer Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina) was added last month, as was Julia Stiles, who is reprising her role as Nicky Parsons.

Paul Greengrass will direct his third movie of the series and is writing the script with Christopher Rouse. The film is targeting a 2016 release.

Variety first reported Jones’ casting news.
