Just a month after Meghan Trainor was forced to postpone two dates on her tour due to a vocal cord hemorrhage, the star is back on the road, and on TV. Trainor resumed her tour earlier this month, but made her first television performance since having surgery on Thursday night when she performed “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Trainor belted out the high notes, stayed steady and showed no signs of struggle. “I am supposed to sing less during my shows and not speak at all during the day when I am not performing,” she recently told EW. “But I can’t help to sing like I usually do in my shows especially when the crowd is extra pumped.”

She also performed “Dear Future Husband” for the late-night host too.
