Saddish?

Showtime is axing Happyish after one season, the network confirmed Friday.

The comedy starring Steve Coogan as a depressed middle-aged advertising executive will not return for another round after underperforming this spring. Coogan replaced the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, who was originally attached to the project.

Happyish scored weak reviews from critics, having averaged only 49 out of 100 on Metacritic.
