Even though Bob Dylan was deemed one of the best songwriters of his generation, it turns out that rappers like Eminem and Jay Z have bigger vocabularies than the rock star. According to a new study by Musixmatch, Eminem has the biggest vocabulary out of his fellow 93 best-selling musicians — and Kenny G has the smallest.

The study looked at the 99 of the best-selling musicians in 25 different genres and how many words are said in their 100 most word-heavy songs.

The results showed that rappers topped the list: Eminem landed at No. 1 with 8,818 words, while Jay Z came in behind him with 6,899. Tupac got third place with 6,569. Kanye West and Bob Dylan round out the top five, while the Spice Girls, Bruno Mars and Kenny G make up the bottom three.

Though Dylan was bested by Eminem, Jay Z, Tupac and Kanye, he was still the only non-rapper in the top six. See all the results — along with how Musixmatch determined them — here.
