Here’s a little story and you’re sure to like it: On Tuesday’s Late Late Show, James Corden remade the video for “Opposites Attract” with Paula Abdul.

Corden played MC Skat Cat in the recreation; Abdul, all swift and sly and playing it cool, starred as herself. The 1989 video was famous for mixing Abdul with animation — Who Framed Roger Rabbit? had come out a year before — but on Tuesday, Corden kept things in the live-action realm.
