'Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser' already has more than 1 million views
David Spade pitched Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loserto the likes of Adam Sandler and the Invisible Man, but they’re not the only ones he sold on it.
The film has been viewed more than a million times in the five days since it premiered on Crackle, the streaming network said Tuesday.
The movie, billed by Crackle as the first made-for-digital sequel to a major motion picture, finds Spade’s Joe Dirt settling into married life, until he gets swept back into the recent past and must find a way to return to the present.
“Thanks to everyone that has watched so far,” Spade said in the announcement. “We tried to make this easy for the fans by streaming it on Crackle, and it’s working. Keep on keeping on — dang x 10!”
Joe Dirt 2 also stars Brittany Daniel, Dennis Miller, Christopher Walken, and Adam Beach, and can be seen now on Crackle. Watch Spade pitch the movie in the video above.
