Anne Hathaway responds to Amy Schumer's Trainwreck joke, predicts she'll win an Oscar
- Movie
Anne Hathaway may be a punchline in Amy Schumer’s Trainwreck, but the Oscar winner was nothing but gracious about it — and even offered her own Oscar predictions for this year.
Hathaway posted a picture of her Trainwreck ticket stub on Instagram with the caption: “Dear @AmySchumer, don’t pretend like when you win your Oscar — which you could for your brilliant and refreshing writing and/or acting in @TrainwreckMovie — you won’t tote it around to every Oscar party you go to. Way to slay, Annie.”
In the film, Schumer’s character tells her boyfriend (Bill Hader) that after he wins a charity award, he’s acting like Anne Hathaway on Oscar night. Hathaway won an Academy Award for best supporting actress in 2013 for her role in Les Miserables.
UPDATE: Schumer has responded and foisted all the blame onto director Judd Apatow.
