Tyler Perry is the latest to join Brain on Fire. An adaptation of Susannah Cahalan’s memoir, the film stars Chloë Grace Moretz as a New York Post journalist who begins experiencing seizures and hearing voices. Her condition quickly worsens, until one doctor steps in. Perry is set to play Moretz’s boss at the Post. Carrie-Anne Moss and Richard Armitage were cast last week. The movie also features Thomas Mann and Jenny Slate. The film, directed, written and co-produced by Gerard Barrett, is in production in Vancouver and is scheduled to release next year.
Clea DuVall‘s directorial debut is bolstered by an all-star ensemble. Burn Later Productions announced Monday that Melanie Lynskey, Natasha Lyonne, Vincent Piazza, Jason Ritter, Ben Schwartz, Alia Shawkat, and Cobie Smulders headline the Argo and Girl, Interrupted actress’ movie. Plot details for DuVall’s script have yet been revealed.
