Ever since Caitlyn Jenner came out as transgender, she and Orange Is the New Black actress Laverne Cox have been praising each other on social media for the strides they’ve each taken in the name of transgender rights.

However, they had never actually met until Sunday night, when they posed for photos at a special advance screening of I Am Cait, the eight-part docuseries about Jenner’s new life as a transgender woman.

The above photo, posted by Cox, included the hashtags “#TransIsBeautiful” and “#TransLikeUs.”

In another photo, also posted by Cox, she posed with Jenner as well as a number of other prominent transgender rights activists:

I Am Cait premieres July 26 at 8 p.m. ET on E!.
