We’re two months away until Empire is back into our lives, so it’s an appropriate time to get amped. Fox released a teaser poster for season 2 on Wednesday, and one thing’s clear: Cookie is ready to take charge.
Though she’s sitting next to Lucious, the Lyon matriarch is seated in a more powerful pose and has her hand firmly planted on the male lion. Only complaint? There’s obviously not enough gold. But we still can’t wait to reenter the Lyons den.
Empire returns Sept. 23 on Fox.
