Michael Madsen and Tim Roth were there at the very beginning for Quentin Tarantino, and the duo reunite for his latest effort, The Hateful Eight.

EW’s Darren Franich spoke with seven of the eight haters in the Entertainment Weekly Lounge at Comic-Con and asked Roth how Tarantino has changed over the course of their collaborations. “For me, it’s the same guy, but he has a lot more toys. He’s got all of the equipment to play with,” Roth said. “He’s was born to do it, and he got to do it, and he does it well. And now he’s got a lot of things he can play around with. It was a lot of fun.”

Madsen joined in on the nostalgic fun by reminiscing about their Reservoir Dog days and that one time he and Roth got stuck to each other thanks to some fake blood.
