Scooter Braun’s roster just got bigger. The manager best known for working with Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Carly Rae Jepsen just signed the Black Eyed Peas at SB Projects. The band’s logo first appeared on SB Projects’ website, and EW confirmed the news.
Braun will not, however, handle management for the band’s solo artists, will.i.am and Fergie. EW can also confirm that Fergie is busy working on new music.
The Black Eyed Peas’ last album, The Beginning, came out in 2010 via Interscope, but they recently debuted a new track “Awesome,” which was featured during the 2015 NBA Playoff promos and is assumed to be the first single off their forthcoming seventh album. Fergie, however, does not appear on the song.
will.i.am confirmed back in January that the band would release new music to celebrate the their 20th anniversary. “So we’ll make music for them and we’ll just reflect on the dream. The initial dream we had, June 1995,” he said while visiting the Capital Breakfast show with Dave Berry & Lisa Snowdon.
