Jared Fogle’s appearance in Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! has been cut from the film following the FBI’s raid on the Subway spokesman’s house in Indiana on Tuesday. The raid took place two months after Russell Taylor, formerly the head of the Fogle-founded nonprofit the Jared Foundation, was charged by federal prosecutors with the production and possession of child pornography.
A spokesman for Syfy, which is broadcasting the horror threequel on July 22, has confirmed to EW that a cameo appearance Fogle had shot for the film would not be seen in the finished cut.
On the day of the raid, Subway announced it was suspending its relationship with Fogle, who became a spokesperson for the company after claiming to have lost a dramatic amount of weight by switching to a diet of Subway sandwiches.
Fogle had previously appeared in 2014’s Sharknado 2: The Second One.
