Alison Sudol, best known for her singing and a recurring role on Transparent, will make her feature-film debut in the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Warner Bros. announced in a press release Thursday. Sudol will play Queenie, one of two sisters — along with Katherine Waterston’s Tina — who meet Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) in New York.

The Potter prequel, scripted by J.K. Rowling and directed by David Yates, is set seven decades before the adventures of The Boy Who Lived and tells the story of Scamander, a magizoologist who travels to America to document magical creatures.

Fantastic Beasts is slated for release on Nov. 18, 2016.
