Joelle Charbonneau made test-taking terrifying in her best-selling trilogy, The Testing. Now, she turns her dystopian eye towards social networks and teens’ wishes in Need, out this fall. EW has the goosebump-inducing exclusive trailer right here.

When teens at a Wisconsin high school discover a new social networking site that promises to grant their every desire, they get sucked in to this seemingly simple premise, thinking nothing of the consequences of their actions. But as the site begins to manipulate students’ behavior, the pranks they were called to do give way to more sinister crimes. “Everybody has a price,” the falsely-soothing trailer voice teases. To find out the limits of these prices, pick up the book November 3.
