  • Courteney Cox and Roselyn Sanchez have signed on for Paul Duddridge’s indie drama Mother’s Day (not to be confused with Garry Marshall’s holiday ensemble movie Mother’s Day). Duddridge’s film, which he will co-direct with Nigel Levy from a script by Paige Cameron, is about a photographer whose life is changed forever by an unexpected pregnancy. Cox and Sanchez join Susan Sarandon and her daughter Eva Amurri Martino, Sharon Stone, Christina Ricci, and Paul Wesley in the cast. [Variety]
  • Antoine Fuqua’s The Magnificent Seven just got another addition to its cast: David Kallaway will join Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Peter Sarsgaard, and Ethan Hawke, among others, on the remake of the classic western.   • James Purefoy has signed on to Meera Menon’s female-driven Wall Street drama Equity, starring Anna Gunn as an investment banker caught in a scandal. Purefoy will play her romantic opposite, a charming but reckless bank executive, and Sarah Megan Thomas and Alysia Reiner will costar. [Variety]
