Whoopi Goldberg on Bill Cosby: I won't make 'snap judgments'
Bill Cosby admitted to drugging and having sex with women in a 2005 court document that was released Monday—but Whoopi Goldberg still isn’t ready to make a decision on whether Cosby is guilty of the sexual assault accusations over a dozen women have thrown his way.
“I don’t like snap judgments because I’ve had snap judgments made on me,” Goldberg said on Tuesday’s episode of The View. “So I’m very, very careful.”
The other hosts weren’t as unbiased—co-host Candace Cameron Bure, for one, said she thinks Cosby is “guilty, guilty, guilty.” But Goldberg continued to defend her own stance. “I say this because this is my opinion, and in America, still, I know it’s a shock, but you actually, we’re innocent until proven guilty,” she said. “He has not been proven.”
