Kanye West has been known to offer a soundbite or two. The 38-year-old rapper has recently uttered such phrases as “When you’re the absolute best, you get hated on the most” as a commencement speaker and “You are now watching the greatest living rock star on the planet!” during his Glastonbury set on June 27.

But given the length of his career and the breadth of his coverage, there’s no one good place to find all his best quips. Herbert Lui and his team fixed that problem by creating The World According to Kanye, a free ebook with all of the treatises on life, art, love and Kanye by Yeezus himself.

“Few people see Kanye beyond the cringeworthy caricature that the media presents him as – despicable, crazy, impulsive, arrogant, and narcissistic,” Lui writes in the foreword. “Yet Kanye is also inspiring, innovative, hardworking, insightful, and intelligent. He’s also, at times, surprisingly level-headed and self-aware.” Lui tells Complex the idea for a compilation of West’s thoughts came after Yeezy’s interview with BBC Radio personality Zane Lowe in September 2013.

It’s a compendium for any West fan, nearly hitting the 250-page mark. It features some deep cuts. Two examples: Yeezy gives his thoughts on gift-giving (pg. 29):

Here, West ponders the history of clothing (pg. 104):
