Caitlyn Jenner shared a heartfelt and patriotic post with her Twitter followers on Saturday in celebration of Independence Day.

“Happy 4th of July!” she wrote. “Proud to be an American … where at least I am free to be me.”

Her message included a photo of a framed American flag hanging on a wall.


July is poised to be a big month for Jenner. She’ll receive the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs on July 15, and her docuseires, I Am Cait, premieres July 26 on E!
