Even with 17 candidates announced for the 2016 presidential election, Jon Stewart may have witnessed his first truly “D’oh!”-worthy moment: Ted Cruz’s The Simpsons impression.

Video of Cruz mock auditioning to replace Harry Shearer was produced by BuzzFeed, and Cruz’s impressions initially left Stewart host momentarily speechless.

But it wasn’t the end of questionable political choices Stewart took a look at on Wednesday, as he examined the merchandise other candidates have started selling to attract voters. Don’t expect Stewart to buy a Marco polo shirt or a Ted Cruz coozie anytime soon.
