Demi Lovato dropped her new single, “Cool For The Summer,” on Wednesday, and while early critics spent the day debating its lyrical meaning, some noted that the song sounded a bit like Jessie J’s “Domino” or Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl.”

When Entertainment Tonight tweeted, “Fans accuse @ddlovato of ripping off @katyperry and @jessiej in new leaked single,” Lovato hit back, denying the claims.

To be fair, producer Max Martin did work on both “Cool For The Summer” and “I Kissed A Girl.”
