Chris Carter: 10 X-Files episodes every fan should watch

When the X-Files returns as a six-episode event series next year, the good news is it will appeal to both old fans and newbies to the show.

In fact, show creator Chris Carter told EW that viewers won’t even need to have seen the original series to understand and appreciate the reboot — but because it’s been off the air since 2002, we asked him to pick the 10 essential episodes that everyone, fans and those new to the show, should catch up on before the new season hits in January.
