The Affair season 2 first look: Love does not conquer all

Last we saw Noah and Alison at the end of The Affair‘s first season, they had created a new life together in the city. At least, they had until Noah was arrested for the murder of Scotty Lockhart. Hey, they say the honeymoon phase can’t last forever, right?

And now, EW has an exclusive first look at season 2 of the steamy Showtime drama, and let’s just say there’s trouble in post-affair paradise. Not only does it look like Cole works his way back into Alison’s life, but it appears that Noah’s legal troubles won’t go away anytime soon. And of course, there’s sex.

The Affair returns to Showtime this fall.
