Demi Lovato is getting her own mobile game
Demi Lovato is coming to a phone near you: Pocket Gems, a game developing company, announced Wednesday that a Lovato-centric mobile game is on its way.
The game will “show fans what it’s like to join Demi on tour while chasing their dreams of becoming a famous musician.”And Lovato herself had input: The singer helped pick out her avatar’s style and dialogue.
“Demi is without a doubt one of the greatest entertainers in the world and we’re thrilled to be working with her,” Pocket Gems’ Jameel Khalfan said in a press release. “We believe Lovatics will really enjoy getting to experience a part of Demi’s life that they’re not used to seeing.”
That story includes a past starring in Disney Channel’s Camp Rock, releasing four studio albums, playing judge on The X Factor, and now, starring in a game. No word yet if her friends and family will also have avatars a la Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. The still-untitled game launches later this summer.
