Vivian Campbell will be heading back on the road with Def Leppard following last week's news that his cancer had returned.

Campbell announced on Facebook that with help from his doctors, he would be rejoining the tour this Saturday for the band's Birmingham, Alabama performance. The band also posted the update to their website.

"I'm so happy and so indebted to the wonderful physicians who have worked so hard on my behalf to make this happen," Campbell wrote.

Campbell was originally diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma back in March 2013. He has been given an alternative treatment to radiation that will enable him to resume performing. He assured fans that he won't have to miss any more shows on the rest of their 48-city North American tour.
