Denis Villenueve’s Sicario debuted to strong reviews at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, and now Lionsgate has unveiled the film’s intense first trailer.

Set on what the film calls the “lawless boarder” between Mexico and the U.S., Sicario — which, as the trailer explains, means “hitman” in Mexico — Villenueve’s latest stars Emily Blunt as an FBI agent named Kate caught in the middle of the raging drug war. Josh Brolin and Benicio Del Toro co-star in the film, respectively, as a government task force offical and a shady consultant in the unending battle.

“I want to tell everyone what you did,” Kate says at the end of the trailer. To which Brolin’s Matt seemingly responds: “That would be a major mistake.” Yikes.
