Just two days after Hilary Duff released her first studio album since 2007, the pop star dropped a music video for her song “Tattoo.”

Duff goes casual in the video, giving an acoustic performance of the song that details an ex-lover who remains under her skin. Ed Sheeran collaborated with the Younger actress on “Tattoo,” though he doesn’t appear in the video.

Quite the opposite of her “Sparks” music video, which features Duff using Tinder, “Tattoo” is low-key, and features the singer calmly jamming in her backyard.

“Over the past few years of my life it’s just been something that really helped me—just taking a deep breath in and letting a deep breath out,” Duff told EW. “It can be a good thing, it can be a struggle, it can be a power thing—it’s just a good reminder for everyone to remember to do that. It’s a relief.”
