Justine Ezarik, or as fans of her YouTube channel will know her, iJustine, has had a busy year. In addition to her multiple YouTube channels, she published her first book, I, Justine: An Analog Memoir, a memoir about what it’s like to share so much of yourself online. So EW decided there was no better way to find out about the book than by talking to iJustine over something she has an entire YouTube channel dedicated to: video games.

Over a few rounds of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, iJustine and EW discussed the process of writing her first book, her love of Nintendo amiibo figures, and what games on the horizon she’s excited to play. Or at least… we tried to, though we quickly discovered trying to actually fight on screen can take a bit more focus than anticipated. Luckily, we were able to discuss the now-available memoir and find out who is the superior Smash player.

And for more Q & Play, watch Ex Machina‘s Domhnall Gleeson play a Star Wars racing game and The Americans‘ Holly Taylor go head-to-head with EW in Super Smash Bros. And for more from iJustine, check out when she took over EW’s Instagram for BookCon.
