Harmonix has announced that Rock Band 4 will arrive on Oct. 6, bringing with it a new setlist, new and improved instruments, and a host of gameplay upgrades.

Among them, as featured in a new trailer, is that guitarists will have the ability to improvise their own guitar solos. The trailer, embedded above, gives you some idea of how this mechanic works, but Harmonix promises it won’t take years of guitar lessons to get the hang of playing.

Among the E3 announcements is the reveal of a set of new songs for the game. Bruno Mars, Elvis Presley, and more are joining the game. Here’s what has been revealed of the promised 60-plus song setlsit so far:

Avenged Sevenfold – “Hail to the King”

Benjamin Booker – “Violent Shiver”

Elvis Presley – “Suspicious Minds”

Fleetwood Mac – “You Make Loving Fun”
