Years ago, the late Christopher Lee lent his voice to an animated short based on the Edgar Allan Poe story, The Fall of the House of Usher. Today, GKIDS announced that they’ve acquired the toon as part of a Poe anthology titled Extraordinary Tales, with plans to release it in theaters and on video-on-demand on Oct. 30.

Lee isn’t the only former Dracula to participate. Bela Lugosi, who died in 1956, provided the narrator’s voice in The Tell-Tale Heart. Julian Sands, Roger Corman, and Guillermo Del Toro also contribute to the anthology, which includes The Pit and the Pendulum, The Facts in the Case of Mr. Valdemar, and The Masque of the Red Death.
