Smash Mouth lead singer threatens to beat fans for throwing bread at him
Smash Mouth’s lead singer Steve Harwell had a rough time at the Taste of Fort Collins festival in Colorado this weekend, when fans started throwing bread at him. “I’m going to beat your ass, whoever the f-ck you are,” he said to the crowd. “Walk your ass up here.” He then said he would “beat the f-ck” out of him or her. The whole thing was caught on camera by fans at the event.
He also threatened to walk off stage after saying the bread-throwing culprit they were ruining the band’s set for everybody. According to the footage and reports from the scene, a security team attempted to calm Harwell down. The rest of the band, always profssional, continued to play Smash Mouth’s mega-hit “All Star” while the whole thing went down. Props, guys.
