Final Fantasy VII

One of the most oft-requested remakes from the last few years has become a reality.

Sony announced at its E3 press conference, along with Square Enix, that a Final Fantasy VII remake is coming to the PlayStation 4. No other details were given, but the beautiful CGI trailer indicates this will likely be a major overhaul of the original game, which was the first in the franchise to be in 3D. Adam Boyes, during the E3 conference, said that the game was coming “first” to the PS4, indicating other systems are possible, however none were announced. Possible details may come out of Square Enix’s press conference tomorrow.

Stay tuned for more Sony and E3 coverage.
