Scooter Braun is one of pop music’s most notorious managers, with a roster featuring artists like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Carly Rae Jepsen. One of them, he says in a new interview with Billboard, is kind of like Bob Dylan.

When asked about Bieber in the new issue of Billboard, which highlights the year’s biggest EDM power players, Braun spun Bieber’s performance at Ultra Music Festival, during which he performed the hit,”Where Are Ü Now” at Skrillex’s set: “It’s like Bob Dylan,” he told Billboard. “He pissed people off, but whenever he switched, he reinvented himself in a way that made him who he is today.”

The switch Braun refers to is that of Bieber’s move from pop music to EDM and R&B, which Braun seems to think mimics Dylan’s choice to go electric in 1965.
