Nicki Minaj is not about to let her ex, Safaree Samuels, have the last word. The pair broke up earlier this year, but on Wednesday he released a new song, “Love The Most,” that seemed to take down their 12-year relationship. Lyrics hinted that she may have been unfaithful and that she owed him credit for her success.

“You ain’t do it all alone,” he sings. “We took ourselves up out the hood. Yeah, we made it on the rise. Ain’t no green in my eyes. ‘Cause we both went to sleep in the same bed of lies.” The last line is clearly a reference to her hit single from The Pinkprint, “Bed of Lies.”

Minaj responded on Twitter, and reminded fans that, despite rumors, she’s very much in love with new boyfriend, Meek Mill.

According to Complex Music, she also wrote and then deleted tweets that said, “Enough with the pity party. Just Live your life,” and, “I’m happy today not b/c of meek. But b/c i know Im a good person. Don’t hate u. Will always love u. I forgive u. It’s time to move on.”
