A June 2 rollercoaster crash at the British amusement park Alton Towers left five people seriously injured, including 17-year-old Leah Washington, who had her leg amputated as a result. The injury forced Washington to miss One Direction’s Saturday show at Cardiff Stadium—and now, following a #Get1DToLeah Twitter campaign orchestrated by one of the teen’s friends, the popular boy band has gotten in touch with her.

According to the BBC, the members of One Direction filmed a video message for Washington and promised to meet her backstage after a show once she recovers. “Unfortunately because of their schedule they can’t visit her in hospital, but they have offered Leah tickets to a forthcoming concert of her choice when she has recovered, and will be delighted to meet her backstage then,” One Direction representatives said.

The group’s Louis Tomlinson also personally reached out to Leah on Twitter:
