New Fifty Shades book stolen from publisher
A manuscript of Grey, E.L. James’s hotly-anticipated new Fifty Shades book told from Christian Grey’s perspective, has been stolen from the publisher, the BBC reports. Police began an investigation after Random House, the publisher, noticed the book was missing. The fear is that this thief may leak the book before its scheduled release date, June 18.
“We have no comment due to an ongoing investigation,” a spokesman for the publishing house told the BBC.
The Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy has sold over 125 million copies worldwide, and though it’s not even out yet, Grey has already rocketed to the top of best-seller lists at Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
