Rory Gilmore and Amber Braverman decided to adopt each other

The internet broke on Monday after former Parenthood star Mae Whitman posted a photo of her erstwhile television mom Lauren Graham, and Graham’s other former fake daughter, Gilmore Girls star Alexis Bledel. “Draw your swords,” Whitman wrote as a hashtag.

But while the initial picture signaled dread for everyone’s favorite fictional children, a later post by Whitman assured fans that everything was okay. “JK YALL! we decided to adopt each other; meet Rory and Amber Bravermore!!!!!” Whitman wrote. And then your Gilmore Girls–Parenthood fanfic was complete.
