Maybe you tuned in because you wanted to know whether Kelli O’Hara or Kristin Chenoweth would take the Leading Actress prize, or perhaps you were eager to see whether Alex Sharp would actually beat out Bradley Cooper and Bill Nighy—but, let’s be frank: the Tony Awards are all about the performances, and this year did not skimp on the offerings.
