Peeta is back in black in new photo from Mockingjay - Part 2
The pieces of the rebellion are slowly coming together. First, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 released its official poster, featuring a beheaded statue of President Snow. That was followed by the first photo of Katniss, Gale, Finnick, and Messalla, all dressed in black and ready for battle. And now, fans get a first look at Peeta.
Last time we saw Peeta, he had been under the Capitol’s influence far too long, and by the time Katniss got to him, well, it wasn’t pretty. But from what we can tell from the photo, which Josh Hutcherson tweeted out, Peeta seems to be back at a healthy weight. Dressed in all black, it would appear that Peeta is headed into battle alongside Katniss—though fans of the book know that not everything will be back to normal.
Much like Jennifer Lawrence, Hutcherson tweeted out the photo with the caption “6.9.15,” which we guess will be the release date of the first trailer for the film. Or, at least, we hope it will be.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 hits theaters on Nov. 20.
