After Zayn Malik left One Direction, Noel Gallagher expressed his disappointment in a Rolling Stone interview: “You want to be a normal 22-year-old?” he said, addressing Malik. “Have you met any normal 22-year-olds? They’re f–kin’ shit for brains.” And apparently he still feels that way.
Gallagher went on The Late Late Show with James Corden Monday night, where he performed and shared some more feelings on Malik’s departure. “I can’t understand why he would do it, because they’ve only got at most five years left,” he told Corden. “He should just stand in the back, smoke weed, get laid, just pick up the check up. But he should get himself a good accountant.”
But Gallagher probably isn’t the best person to look to for advice about staying in a band: Just seconds later, he reminisced about the backstage fist fights he’d get in during Oasis’ end. Watch below.
