The Paleo craze is real! We don’t mean the diet, we’re talking dinosaurs—they’re baaaack. In addition to next weekend’s Jurassic World, we now have a peek inside Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur. Yahoo debuted the first trailer for film, in theaters Nov. 25, which imagines a world where dinosaurs didn’t get wiped out by a meteorite.

Director Pete Sohn tells Yahoo Movies that the film is your classic boy-and-his-dog story…that is, if you reverse the roles and make the alpha the dinosaur and the boy his pet. An apatosaurus named Arlo (voiced by Lucas Neff) is separated from his pack and tries to find his way home. He comes across a young human that he names Spot.

John Lithgow, Frances McDormand, Bill Hader, Judy Greer and Neil Patrick Harris also voice characters. The Good Dinosaur open Nov. 25:
