Tracy Morgan has been offline since the June 2014 accident that left him critically injured—but he made a comeback Monday to tweet, “It’s been a year. Just wanted to say thank you for all of your love and support. Will see you soon.”

Morgan’s tweet came shortly after he appeared on the Today show Monday morning in his first public appearance since the accident. “I love comedy and I can’t wait to get back to her,” he said on the show. “But right now my goal is just to heal and get better. I’m not 100 percent yet. I’m not. And when I’m there, you’ll know it. I’ll get back to making you laugh, I promise you.”
