Scary moment in Knoxville, Tenn. for acclaimed rocker St. Vincent. During her performance Sunday night, Annie Clark scaled a stack of speakers in a display of sheer coolness. But it didn’t go well:

Yeesh. It wasn’t too far of a fall, but surely unexpected for her and the crowd in the Tennessee Theater. And it could have been much, much worse had the full set fallen, too. According to reddit, Clark seamlessly incorporated the topple into her set, feigning a severe injury—and making for a great photo opp before she popped up and continued her rocking.

After the gig, she relayed she was okay on Twitter and thanked the security guard who helped her out.

Though it was a close call for her, it’s unlikely this will deter Clark from similar antics in the future. She didn’t send out any information on any limitations to her performing, so current ticket-holders shouldn’t be concerned. If she does try again, here’s to hoping there’s a camouflaged ladder, so the feat is safer, but appears as rad.
