Twitter can be great, but it can also be a trap and make one come off poorly. This is one of those times.

Let’s get right to it: “Got to be Real” singer Cheryl Lynn first posted a screenshot showing that legendary diva Anita Baker had blocked her on Twitter.

Uh-oh. Well, calling someone out once is fine enough. So Lynn probably stopped there, right?

No. No no no no. Now she’s calling Anita’s vocal ability into question? Don’t go any further; that’s TOO. FAR.

But then Lynn backtracks and says there’s “no beef,” expressing adoration for her contemporary.

Aaah, that’s sweet. All goo—

Ugh. Why can’t everyone get along?

Somehow the frog emoji didn’t find its place next to the coffee one. That what have been a heck of a return salvo.
