Last week, 19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar was accused of molesting five girls when he was a teenager—and he responded by releasing a statement revealing that he had long ago confessed the crime to his parents. Now Funny or Die is mocking the Duggar parents’ response to their son’s crimes in a video that features two stand-ins for Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar.

“When we were first told about Josh’s mistakes, we did the right thing and we ignored the girl who came forward,” Michelle says into the camera. “Girls lie all the time, it’s what they do,” Jim Bob tacks on. “One of our daughters—J-something, I don’t care—once told me there was a frog in one of our 16 industrial washing machines.”

The sketch is a clear indictment of the Duggars, whose recent statements have focused on the effect Josh’s transgressions have had on him and their family—rather than the effect they’ve had on his victims. “It’s been terrible for us. And Josh,” Funny or Die’s Michelle says in the sketch. “But those are the only three people affected by these mistakes.”

TLC has pulled 19 Kids and Counting reruns from its schedule, and several advertisers have cut ties with the show.
