Julian Casablancas + The Voidz explore the many forms of sadness in the music video for the 13-minute-long “Human Sadness,” a track off Tyranny that the band released in September.

Shots depicting hurricanes, domestic abuse, binge-drinking, and explosions are intercut with grainy footage of the group performing on a stage, featuring Julian Casablancas looking as Julian Casablancas as ever in a denim vest and mullet-like haircut. The video, directed by Warren Fu and Nicholaus Goossen, comes off as half-concert doc and half-art film—and even comes complete with some Guitar Hero clips.
