Christopher Owens hinted at a new solo album when he released “Selfish Feelings” last week, and the wait turned out to be shorter than expected: The former Girls frontman’s latest solo album, Chrissybaby Forever, is now streaming.

Chrissybaby Forever is Owens’ third solo album, one that he made with just his engineer best friend. “There are limitations, and those can be good things,” he said of the intimate set-up in an interview with Stereogum. “My solos aren’t going to be as fancy, but they’re going to sound like me.”

The album, featuring old-timey tracks like “Heroine (Got Nothing On You)” and surf-rock jams like “Another Loser F–k Up,” is now streaming on Owens’ Bandcamp and will available on vinyl in August.
