Empire continues its trend of dominating every show in 2015 by having its two leads host an awards show and rock the mic in another. Spike announced that Lucious and Cookie Lyon—er, Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson—will host the network’s annual Guys Choice Awards.

“We just worked with Terrence and Taraji on the upcoming season finale of Lip Sync Battle and I can promise you that adding their off-the-charts chemistry into the Guys Choice mix will make for one of the most unpredictable nights of the year,” said Guys Choice executive producer Casey Patterson. “Gird your loins boys, Cookie is coming to town!”

And in that statement, we also find out that the two will be fake-singing their lungs out to best each other in Lip Sync Battle‘s season 1 finale. That should be epic, and should only include Empire songs. Can they make an exception and forego the “battle” part of the show so they perform “You’re So Beautiful?”

The Guys Choice Awards will honor a handful of celebrities with special awards: Henson, Chris Pratt, Dwayne Johnson, Liam Neeson, LL Cool J, NBA player Russell Westbrook and Hannah Davis.

The Guys Choice Awards tape June 6 at Sony Studios in Culver City, California and air June 18 at 9 p.m. ET on Spike TV. Consider lions girded.
